  How honest should I be with a JW on Facebook?

  so this woman that i grew up with has sent me a friend request on facebook.

  we've done a bit of back and forth "how are you" chat but i haven't accepted her request.. i can see she is still a jw because she belongs to some no-blood facebook group.. i do not want to be her friend on facebook.

  i consider witnesses to be bad association and i severely limit the number of jw's i have on my facebook - only close family and people that i share close history with.. so what should i say to this woman?

  How To Hurt The Watchtower Financially Don't Contribute And Get Gobs Of Books and Burn Them

  for those who still have to go to meetings or are still in for one reason or another but no longer beleive, why not hurt the wt finacially as much as you can by ordering books and getting as much literature as you can and not paying for it.. i would not want to suggest dipping your hand in the contributions destined for the wt coffers as that would be illegal but it has crossed my mind and morally i see nothing wrong with stealing from these frauds..

  Maybe you could wet yourself at a different seat during each meeting? or you could regularly accidentally spill water over the sound equipment? or tread some sardines into the carpet and watch the dubs turn their noses up at the smell until they are forced to buy a new carpet.

  I mean just look at the economy...look at how the career/jobs are anyways. college is just another headache..college is all nothing but getting most people in trouble with fraternities...sororities...etc...etc...mostly drinking, wild parties, and sex. another bill that parents of the college students or the college students themselves have to pay in the long run and their degree now these days don't even count as much, even with degrees it doesn't seriously guarantee you a higher paying job.

  You don't go to college for a job "nowadays" you go to college to set yourself up for life in the future. You're talking about a 4-8 year investment to help ensure success over the following 60 years. The economy isn't going to be the same as it is nowadays forever. Change is constant.

  As for the mostly drinking, wild parties, and sex comment, that sounds just like someone who isn't attending college but is trying to justify the decision. Those things go on but with a minority of students. Most kids are just trying to learn.

  There is no guarantee of a job, period. But college gives you more knowledge and critical thinking ability to use in finding, keeping, and creating a job than not attending does.

  There can be a paradise earth WITHOUT an earthly resurrection

  i get tired of hearing the faulty reasoning that there has to be an earthly resurrection because the bible promises a paradise earth.. those are two completely different things.. the bible only mentions a heavenly resurrection and resurrection is never mentioned in conjunction with paradise earth.

  "how then could there be a paradise earth if everyone goes to heaven?

  the earth would be empty, dummy!".

  my dilemma...i have enjoyed a very fun and active dating life these last four years of freedom.

  most dates end by me moving on (always another fish out there).

  last fall i started dating someone i really like (as in i would like a commitment).

  is it headed by a gb member...how much influence they have over the teachings of the society?.

  Exactly. The real estate end of the business is huge. The lawsuit part of things is pretty big, too. The "battling for Christian freedom" angle is just the public face and only pops up now and then.
